I am sure you will agree, the financial education in this country is sorely lacking. When I was sixteen years old my mom had a sweet sixteen party for me, and my uncle who was a real estate developer gifted me and my younger sister with 10 thousand dollars each. He did it out of the kindness of his heart and he probably also received a tax write off. Now, you might say "wow, ten thousand dollars, that's great!" And it was until it was all gone which happened in less than a ten year time period ... BECAUSE no one took the time to give the proper financial guidance to the sweet sixteen year old who could have been a millionaire by the time she was forty.
Having fun living on Maui and then Oahu in my 20's, 30's, and 40's I would go back and forth between working a job and being self-employed. In my late 30's I started to pay more attention to finances and I purchased a condo. I think one of the reasons people avoid dealing with handling their financial affairs is because they don't want to face them. Because the reality is that unless you're making money hand over fist and your debt-free it can be depressing and it's can just be easier to procrastinate and not look at the situation. Also, no one is really offering you much guidance because your not part of the 3 % of the population that have an abundance of money. It can be a vicious circle.
In my forties I sold the condo and made a great profit which I invested in the market of IRAs. Still not understanding really how money works after a few years it was down to nearly nothing. Once I got more education on how money works I made some good decisions and I am happy to say I will be able to retire and I found a way to receive income for the rest of my life- even if I live to 120- which is not going to happen! No, I didn't win Publisher's Clearing House.
Most people procrastination on looking at their financial situation because they think it's going to be too PAINFUL or too CONFUSING. Believe me I am not a math genius and because of this I have the ability to break things down and explain things in simple terms so that you understand the doable steps you need to take so that you too can grow and preserve your money SAFELY. Without the wild swings of the stock market and without paying high taxes on the money you make because who want's to pay more taxes? Nobody, right?
From the comfort of your home via zoom or over the phone, or in person at one of my offices in Henderson or Las Vegas I can share with you some financial concepts you may have never heard of. Even many financial planners and bankers are unaware of these safe and secure techniques. There is no obligation to do any thing accept being open and receptive to learning and having some fun.
